ALICE AUCLAIR SEXTETT
With a soft and cotton-like voice, along with her skills on the piano, Alice writes, composes, and
creates a dreamy and intimate universe. In her artistic journey, she draws inspiration from a
multitude of musical genres, ranging from singer-songwriter pop-folk to jazz, neo-soul, and indie
pop. She skillfully blends them together to create a deeply personal and distinctive style. For Alice,
music is a creative playground where improvisation and interaction are essential elements. It is a
space where every exchange, every shared moment with other musicians becomes a collective
exploration of truth and freedom. In her pieces, she creates a space where listeners can connect with
themselves while offering a vibrant and colorful harmony that delights the ear and captivates the
imagination.
Accompanied by Sara El Hachimi on alto saxophone, Fernando Brox on flute, Wes Georgiev on
piano, Alistair Peel on bass, and Lucas Zibulski on drums, Alice creates an acoustic universe where
songs and instrumental pieces inspired by jazz blend together. Her voice acts both as a narrator and
an instrument, harmoniously merging with the other instruments to bring her compositions to life.
